Hi, I’m Milo Soren, the creator of CashPrior, a personal finance blog built out of both necessity and obsession.
Like most people, I didn’t grow up with money. I learned about credit scores, compound interest, and budgeting the hard way, through trial, error, and a few painful overdraft alerts. My first “lesson” in finance came when I was 19, standing in line at a grocery store, swiping a debit card that declined twice. That was the moment I realized: if I wanted freedom, I needed to understand how money really works, not the way they teach it in school, but the way it behaves in real life.
Most of what I know is self-taught through online blogs and Reddit threads. Over time, what began as survival turned into fascination. I became that friend who compares high-yield savings accounts for fun, who knows the difference between a cashback app that’s worth it and one that’s just a data trap.

But the real turning point came later, when I started helping people close to me, friends struggling with debt, coworkers trying to save for a house, family members who didn’t know where their money was disappearing every month. I realized something powerful: finance isn’t just about numbers; it’s about clarity and confidence. Once people understood the “why” behind their money habits, everything else started falling into place.
That’s why I built CashPrior, to make that clarity accessible. This isn’t another blog shouting “buy this” or “invest now.” It’s a place for real talk about how to get ahead of your finances before the stress kicks in, before the bills, the late fees, the “where did it all go?” moment.
Here, I write about the tools and apps that actually help, the cashback platforms that pay, the budgeting methods that work, and the habits that keep you from living paycheck to paycheck. You’ll also find honest affiliate reviews: no hype, no clickbait, just my take on what’s worth your time.
When I’m not digging through spreadsheets or testing new financial tools, you’ll probably find me outside, hiking, trading futures (I love financial markets), or planning my next trip on points and miles. For me, money isn’t the goal; it’s the gateway to freedom, to doing more of what makes life worth living.
So, whether you’re trying to pay down debt, save your first $1,000, or just feel more in control of your finances, I’m here to help you think prior – to make decisions that move you ahead, one step and one dollar at a time.
Welcome to CashPrior, where smart money starts early.
